What's the nerdiest thing about you?

I'm a Dr Who fan. I'm not just talking about the cool new episodes with Billy Piper, David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston, but going way back to Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. I am also a Buffy, Angel, and Firefly aficionado. But for me, fandom has its limits. I've never been to a convention, and can't ever imagine myself going to one.

Joss Whedon is teh MAN! I bet I can out nerd you... I own every season of Buffy, Angel and Firefly on DVD...and, I watch them.

I am quite obsessed with the new Doctor Who. You have me on that one, I did not watch the old series but I love the new series.

Do you watch Battlestar Galactica?

Yes, you certainly outnerd me on the Jossverse. I just have Firefly, Serenity, and 2 seasons of Angel and half a season of Buffy.

Some of the old Dr Who stuff was really bad, with rickety sets and bad special effects, but the stories and characters were still interesting. The new episodes are great - right now we're halfway through the second one, and I've seen the one where Anthony Stewart Head plays a villain (who is posing as a school principal).

I've seen the first season of the new Battlestar Galactica, hopefully the second one will reach Australia soon. That reminds me of more nerd credentials. As a kid, I loved the original BSG and even had a toy cylon.

Wasn't ASH great as the alien? As I watched him making a fierce face and screaming, I reflected on the reality that I could never be an actor. I would feel too self conscious.

I did watch the original BSG but was not a rabid fan as I am with the Jossverse. My entire family attended opening night of Serenity. lol

I love Captain Jack and can't wait for his spinn-off.
